This unique product is part of The Queen’s Virtues Series from Saint Helena, a small island and British overseas territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. Truth is one of the Queen’s six virtues seen on the Victorian Memorial outside Buckingham Palace. The monument features the golden Winged Angel of Victory, with Courage and Constancy crouched at her feet. Below the 3 figures are personifications of Justice, Truth, and Charity. This monument was designed by Sir Thomas Brock in 1901, but it was not fully completed until 1924. 

The coins in this series were designed by Elles Kloosterman. Each coin will be shipped in brilliant uncirculated condition and contains .1 Troy oz of .9995 pure platinum. The coin has a face value of 10 pounds, backed by the government of Saint Helena.

The obverse of the 2022 1/10 oz Saint Helena Platinum Queen’s Virtues – Truth bullion coin depicts the third British effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, first designed in 1985 by Raphael Maklouf. The Queen can be seen wearing the Royal Diadem Crown and a pearl necklace and earrings. Surrounding the effigy is a rim containing inscriptions “ST. HELENA · QUEEN ELIZABETH II ·  2022 · £10 · 1/10th OUNCE 999.5 PLATINUM.”

The reverse face features the allegorical personification of Truth. The Truth Angel is depicted as a winged angel holding a mirror in her right arm. Her left arm rests on a small child, who is holding a palm frond. The rim reads “TRUTH · CONQUERS · ALL” along with the mint mark for the East India Company, EIC.
