Founded as ‘Valori & Cambi, Valcambi has undergone many company and brand updates over the years. Purchased in 2017, the current owner and operator of Valcambi is Global Gold Refineries Ltd.
The 1 oz Valcambi Gold CombiBar can be broken down into 10 individual 1/10 oz bars. The CombiBar is shipped in a tamper-proof Assay case. The case includes an orange Assay card authenticating the bar. The package also protects the pieces from breaking apart during the shipping process.
On the obverse face of the CombiBar, you will see the large logo along with the company name, “Valcambi Suisse”. Further down, you will see information that includes the weight, metal content, purity, Assayer’s mark, and the serial number of the larger bar.
On the reverse face, you will see the individual 1/10 oz bar outlines. The same information found on the obverse face can be seen here, except it pertains to each of the 10 separate bars, rather than the 1 oz bar as a whole.
